WILSON picWILSON, Martha “Marty” Louise (nee Mills) – Age 83, of RR#2 Oil Springs in Dawn Township, formerly of Brigden, went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 31, 2025. Dearly loved wife of Franklin Wilson for 64 years. Loving mother of Deanna (Doug) McGee, Dan (Janice) Wilson, Kimberley (Rob) Masters, Jarrod Wilson, Ellen (Dan) Dailey, Scott (Denise) Wilson. Cherished grandmother of Jenica (Dan) VanEssen, Collin Wilson, Carissa (Nick), Luke, Rachael Masters, Michael (Lindsay) McGee, Deidra McGee (Myles), Jonah, Nathan Dailey, Isaac, Jonathan, Alycia Wilson. Great-grandmother of Elliot, Arie VanEssen. Predeceased by parents Roy and Sarah Mills, and siblings Ruth, Roy, Patricia and Donald. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Martha was an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and Pioneer Girls. In later years she attended Devine Street Gospel Chapel. She was involved in her community as a member of the Moore Agricultural Society – Homecraft, Lambton County Book Club, 4-H Leader, lover of music, bird watching and avid gardener.

A special thank you to Dr. Saini, the second floor nurses in the London Cancer Clinic and Care Partners for their sensitive care. Special thanks to Dr. Kim, Mary Chad, Nataliia.

Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS, Bridgen on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 7-9pm.

Funeral service will be held on from the funeral home Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Black Creek Cemetery.

Sympathy may be expressed through donations to LHSF – Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre (www.lhsf.ca) or Devine Street Gospel Chapel.

  7. Franklin and family my deepest condolences on the passing of your dear wife. I got to know during my visits to your house to discuss oil and gas issues with you.
    I found her to be a very pleasant lady and a joy to talk to. To see her picture Jan her obits brought back such great memories. I am so sad to see her gone.
