VANDERBURG, David Lloyd – Age 75, of Sarnia passed away peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Bluewater Health, Sarnia. Beloved husband of the late Mary Vanderburg. Loving father of Amanda. Cherished by his 2 grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Dear brother of 2 sisters. Predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Dorothea Vanderburg, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Survived by many friends, nieces and nephews. David will be missed by all who knew him. There will be no visitation or services at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS, Brigden. Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will take place at Lakeview Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations Heart and Stroke Foundation. www.heartandstroke.ca

he was the best uncle with the best sense of humor. he was my dad’s fraternal twin, and they had a close bond, and I believe now, they are reunited and catching up like old times. I’m so very sorry amanda. he will be remembered for his laughter, love of nature and his good heart.
this was the cool uncle. the uncle that taught me ” if you get the right car, you get the right girl”. sport cars, chevy pick up trucks and rock and roll. yep, he was the cool uncle.
David was my uncle , and was my favorite uncle although it’s been many years since we really talked, the memories I have of his fast cars and going nearly everyday to see him at work during the summers are cherished.
Ill s unfortunate that time separates families, bye for now David , my memories of you live on.
