THOMPSON, Delmar Robert – Age 67, of RR#4 Petrolia, passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health – C.E.E. Site, Petrolia on Sunday, October 28, 2012. Beloved husband of Karen (Douglas) Thompson. Loving father of Heather, Jeff (Lili) and Jason (Amanda) Thompson. Cherished grandfather of Parker and Riley Thompson. Dear son of Helen (Thompson) Napper. Dear brother of Darryl (Debbie) of Agassiz, BC. Brother-in-law of Carol Thompson, Robin and Diane Creeden, John and Pat Froud, Pat and Matt Mitro, Barry and Mary Jo Edgar, Keith and Elizabeth Douglas. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (Tait, 1976) and father William Thompson (1978), brother Douglas (1995), brothers-in-law Robert Tait, Kevin Douglas and special niece Laura Froud. Survived by many nieces and nephews who treasured their uncle’s support and guidance throughout the years. Delmar was a Past Master of Leopold Lodge #397, Brigden.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS, Brigden on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

FUNERAL SERVICE
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 11:00am from the Brigden United Church. Rev. Sandra Fogarty officiating. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia.
