2. What fun activities and delicious food always showed up at the Sheppard farm when the Wilson and Crossett families invaded the place! Ice skating at night is what I remember most. Along with the great time I had the week I got to have my farm vacation. I will miss visiting with Marie when I am in Petrolia. Such a beautiful photo of her. Just as she always was and will be in my mind. Condolences to the family.

Marie was a beautiful lady anytime I would meet her, usually with Edna. Your memories of so many good times will stay with all of you as you get through the difficult times ahead. A life well lived. 5. I was sorry to hear of Marie’s passing. She was a hard worker on the farm, and I remember her and Marion chasing pigs to get them on the truck. She was a farmer , no two ways about it. My condolences to Jim, Bill, and the entire Sheppard family. John Ford Senior

11. Marie was a longtime friend of my former mother-in-law Jeanne Jauniaux and my former wife Kathryn (Turbucz) Poirier. Card nights consisted of a lot of cheating on diets and laughter. All are sadly missed.

    It was nice how she proudly talked about (or introduced) her children, or grandchildren.

62. I am so sorry to hear of your family’s loss. Marie was a bright spot in my Wednesday mornings. She delivered The Independent at QVP faithfully for a number of years and each morning I would buzz her apartment and have a little chat about the weather and her family. She was clearly very proud of her children and grandchildren and was excited each time her family came for a visit. Marie was a welcome visitor at the office who always had a kind word for everyone in the building. We will miss her. And our deepest condolences to your family as you remember her.
