Donald James Scott, age 68, peacefully, on Sunday January 18th, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer, Don has left us for a better more peaceful world. Don is survived by brothers Jack (Donna), Dick, Dave (Lorrie), Paul (Cathy), Philip (Marlene) and 15 nieces and nephews. Don is also survived by special friends Adam and Alysen Winder and God-children Phoenix and Titan. Don is predeceased by his parents Jack and Jane Scott and by his Don Moore Farms partners Donald and Grace Turnbull. A private family service was held at Moore Union Cemetery on January 22, 2009, where he was laid to rest next to his lifelong Don Moore Farms partners Donald and Grace.
