ROBBINS, George Gardiner, age 91, of Mooretown, peacefully passed with his family by his side on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petrolia.

Beloved husband of the late Marion Blanche (Abra) Robbins (2008) for 67 years.Loving father of Gary (Brenda) Robbins, Courtright; Claire (Helen) Robbins, Courtright; Eugene (Carine) Robbins, Mooretown; Marlene (Garry) Curts, Dresden. Dear grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren. Survived by his sister Gwen Wright of Sarnia. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Mary Ellen (Arnold) Robbins, brothers Stuart, Ormand, Ivan, Arnold and sisters Pearl Weaver, Kathleen Vye and Helen Fleming. George and his wife Marion farmed and raised their family on the Sixth Line of Moore Township. George spent his entire life involved with raising and working with horses.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Sunday May 31, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

FUNERAL SERVICE
The funeral service will be held on Monday June 1, 2009 at 11:00am from the funeral home.Rev. Jill Rogers officiating. Interment in Bear Creek Cemetery.
