PIGGOTT, Douglas Clare – It is with sadden hearts that the family of Doug Piggott announce his passing on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia. Beloved husband of Patricia Jean (Atkinson) for 49 years. Loving father of Shawn (Cindy) Piggott. Special grandfather of Owen and Mya Piggott. Survived by sister-in-law Joyce Piggott and many friends, cousins and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Clarence (1978) and Viola Harkins (1976), siblings Beverley (2005), Rae (2006), Ross (2016), Anne Marie (1935) and sister-in-laws Mary Louise (2005) and Marion Piggott (2021). Doug worked as a Lab Technician at Bayer for many years and was a lifelong farmer in Enniskillen Township. Doug will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS, Brigden on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 5pm to 8pm.
Funeral Service
A funeral service will be held at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPEL, Brigden on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 11 am with interment to follow at Bear Creek Cemetery.

Pat, Shaun & family….so sad to hear of Doug’s passing…he was such a gentle, quiet sole and so talented with his shop at the farm making or creating things in past that would work for the farm and passing on that knowledge to Shaun and grandchildren will keep those happy memories going…my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
