Doris Myrtle (Jarvis) NEWMAN age 85, of Fiddicks Retirement Home, Petrolia, formerly of Brigden, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Bluewater Health C.E.E. site Petrolia. Beloved wife of the late Robert Newman (2003) of 55 years. Loving mother of William and Nancy Newman, Aurora; Gary and Patty Newman, Corunna. Dear grandmother of Andrew, Christopher and Daniel.

Predeceased by parents Robert and Myrtle (Crossley) Jarvis, brother Grant (Jean) Jarvis, sister Mary (Allen) Restorick. Survived by God-son Keith Dawson of Brigden and several nieces and nephews. Doris was a life-time member of the Brigden United Church. Special thanks to Dr. E. Daniel and Dr. C. Winegard, nursing staff at C.E.E. Hospital Petrolia and Fiddicks Retirement Home.

Visitation
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Thursday January 20, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.

Funeral Service
Funeral service will be held on Friday January 21, 2011 at 11:00am from the Brigden United Church.

Interment
Interment Bear Creek Cemetery.
