Howard had a lifelong love for red farm equipment and family. Although he was rarely found in a leading role, his unwavering dedication in supporting roles did not go unnoticed. His lifelong connection to agriculture saw his earlier days dairy farming, later transitioning to a career as a parts man at Boyington’s Equipment and as an equipment driver running the countryside baling up hay.

The family extends our appreciation to the compassionate staff and volunteers at The Villa for their wonderful care over the past five years.

  1. Deepest sympathies to the Maw family. Howard was a very special man and he was close to my Mother at LMV for the last couple of years of her life. Howard loved going over his photo memory books and telling stories and they could talk at length even if neither of them could remember what they talked about. Howard knew my father as a young man, who was also named Howard. The Maw and McMahan families had farms next to one another on the Plympton-Enniskillen townline of Lambton County and the lives of all our parents, grandparents, and their children/relatives are intertwined in many ways. A whole lot of history there. RIP Howard Maw. What a life story! 💞
