MacALPINE, Murray Francis – Age 76 of RR#3 Oil Springs, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at his residence. Beloved husband of Marilyn MacAlpine (nee Gasco). Loving father of Lynn (Aurelio) Roncone of Windsor and Bill (Brenda) MacAlpine of Brigden. Cherished grandfather of Cameron and Ryan MacAlpine, Michael and Kiara Roncone. Dear brother of Ethel (Lorne) McLennan, Irene (late Lenard) LePain, Barbara (late Frank) Evoy, Evan (Helen) MacAlpine and Mary (late Cyril) Childs. Predeceased by his parents William and Myrtle (nee Master) MacAlpine and siblings Myrtle (George) Butler, Harriette (Harry) Barnes, Malcolm (Grace) MacAlpine, Archie MacAlpine and Glen MacAlpine. Following Murray’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Island View Hunt Club by calling the funeral home.

A Guide to Death Care in Ontario
So Sorry for your loss Aunt Marilyn, Lynn and Bill –Uncle Murray will always be remembered to me especially when i think back when he lived with us on Florence Ave. in Petrolia and he would be getting ready to go out –i was just little but I thought of Uncle Murray as being very good looking and always primping making sure his clothes and HAIR was just right–I would ask him “Where are you going Uncle Murray?” and he would always say the same thing–“I going Girling–is that ok with you?” Of course it was because at that age he WAS MY HERO–love him and miss him
