Capture 2LUCAS, Brenda Lee (nee Quinn) – Age 70 of Froomefield, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at her home. Beloved wife of Kenneth Lucas for 54 years. Dear mother of Penny Shanks (James) of Sarnia and James Lucas of Sarnia. Loved grandmother of Natasha Adams (Greg Sanders) and James Lucas.  Loved great-grandmother of Alyce Adams-Phoenix, Grace Sanders and Taisa Sanders.

Predeceased by her parents, Helen (nee Benedict) Quinn (1988) and James Quinn (1979), her mother-in-law, Agnes (nee Marshall) Lucas (2004), father-in-law Carl Lucas (1997), her siblings, James Quinn (Alice), Beverly Zimmer (Gary), Nancy Weglarz (Stefan) and by her cherished friends, Bonnie Lachey and Pat. Survived by many dear nieces and nephews, and her beloved pet Chihuahua’s, Buddy and Lilly.

Brenda loved tole painting, diamond dots painting, crocheting, and knitting. She was an avid reader of mysteries, biographies, and romance novels. She was a member of the Corunna Knitting Club and a member of Corunna United Church, loved helping out in the kitchen. Brenda will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral Details
A private immediate family funeral service was held at Steadman Brothers Funeral Home, Brigden.

Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice or Corunna United Church.
