LAVOIE, Helen Augusta (nee Tengelits), age 76, of Courtright, peacefully at Bluewater Health – Palliative Care on Monday, May 25, 2009.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Lavoie (1986). Loving mother of Joe, John and his wife Vickie, Mary Reynolds and her husband Brian, and David. Dear grandmother of Joel, Shelby and BJ. Survived by sister Margaret, niece Rosemary and several other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Louis and Rose (nee Barath) Tengelits, sister Rosemary and brothers Alex and Louis. Helen was a well respected business owner of the Courtright Variety where she considered the community as a part of her family for over 25 years.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS VISITATION CENTRE, 233 Cameron Street, Corunna, on Friday May 29, 2009 from 3-5 and 7-9pm.

MEMORIAL MASS
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2009 from SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1465 Lecaron Ave., Sarnia at 11:00am. Interment following in Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, Sarnia. Cremation has taken place.
