JAPP, Evelyn Frances (nee Sheffer) – Age 76, of Brigden, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia. Beloved wife of Rae Japp for 51 years. Loving mother of Edward Japp, Barry (Tricia) Japp and Jeff (Rachel) Japp. Special grandmother of Jenna-Leigh, Evan, Abbey, Sophie, Brady, Benjamin Lockrey, Ethan, Kennadi and great-grandmother of Zoyee. Dear sister to the late Shirley (Roy) Cooper, Marion (John) Ford. Survived by special cousin Janet Henry.
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS, Brigden on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 3:00 to 6:30pm.
A funeral service will take place at on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 11:00am from the funeral home. Interment to follow to at Bear Creek Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of Evelyn’s passing. She was a very faithful choir member at Brigden United. Evelyn had recently attended the annual meeting at church. I called Evelyn that afternoon to see how she felt about coming back to choir, which was going to start up the following week. We talked for probably an hour or so. It sounded to me like she was going to survive all those treatments but I guess it was not meant to be. God had another plan for Evelyn. She will be singing up in Heaven all those wonderful Gaither hymns for sure. May she rest in peace.
