HACKETT, Gary William – In his 72nd year passed away suddenly at his home on January 18, 2025. Gary retired after a lengthy career at St. Clair Twp. Gary was a home body and had a passion for old Mopar cars. In Retirement Gary loved spending time with his dog and tinkering with his old cars in his shop.  Always quick to lend a hand to anyone in need of help he was there and up for whatever the job was. Gary was an Avid sports fan, and he would love to ramble on to anyone who would listen about the Leafs, Lions and Tigers. The light of Gary’s life was his two granddaughters!, Lauren and Elizabeth. Gary will be sorrily missed by his wife of 49 years Janet (nee Stephens) and his boys Dan (Michelle) and Sean. Dear brother to Gwen (Nick), Bryan (Norma), Deborah (Leonard), Joel (Carol) and Jeff (Beth). Gary is remembered by the Stephens family, Trudy (Ron Stamos), Gary (Janet) and Bruce (Cathy). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Gary will be missed by all who knew him.  Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
