DICK, Ralph, Howard – Age 93, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Vision Nursing Home, Sarnia. Beloved husband of 56 years to the late Audrey (nee McLeod) Dick (2011). Loving father of Arlene Jillard, late Murray (Sharon) Dick, Marni (Al) Peters. Cherished grandfather of Ben (Devon) Jillard, Bethany (Aaron) Krohn, Josh Jillard, Amanda Dick, Rachel Dick, Chris Peters, Stacey (Tyler) Charlton, Bryan (Karlee) Peters, Greg Peters. Great-grandfather of Alexandra Krohn, Brody Jillard, Amelia Peters, Dean Peters, late Abigail Charlton (2019). Predeceased by his parents Clifford Dick (1977) and Winnifred (nee Bransom) Dick (1945), step-mother Doris (nee Jones) Dick (1996), sister Dorothy Goodrow (1998).
Ralph enjoyed camping and canoe trips in Northern Ontario as well as curling, football and baseball. He appreciated going to the theatre in Stratford and Niagara-on-the-Lake as well as attending the International Symphony with his friends. He was born in Toronto and attended Queen’s University for Chemical Engineering. Ralph worked at CIL from 1952 to 1985 and lived in Toronto, Hamilton, Montreal, Wiarton and spent the last year at Vision Nursing Home in Sarnia.
A private family service will be held and interment of ashes will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto.
