5467972568287340574DAVIDSON, Robert James – Age 51 of Petrolia, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Beloved husband of Holly Morden. Loving father of Sabrina (Johnny) Labbé and Mackenzie Tobias. Cherished son of Elizabeth Bailey and step-father Ted and son-in-law of Margaret (Alan) Lester. Loved grandson of Trudy Greensen. Dear brother of Wesley (Tina), Marty, Brad and Corey (Jacquie) and brother-in-law of Jason Morden (Daniel). Survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his father Stuart Davidson, father-in-law Richard Morden and grandfather Martin Greensen. He will be sadly missed by his dogs Ava and Ruby as well as cats Morris, Lenny and Henry. Rob loved sports, especially playing baseball and soccer. He was a true Maple Leafs and Blue Jays fan. Rob was an avid member of the Leafs Nation led by his aunt Cheryl H. Barnes.

VISITATIONS
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS, Brigden on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE
A celebration of Robbie’s life will be held at a later date.

DONATIONS
In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to Sarnia Humane Society.

  1. From his old High School Physed teacher…so sorry about losing Rob.
    In the hallway, in the gym, on a sports trip….Rob always had a smile on his face and a great attitude…..soccer and baseball yes , but he excelled at every sport…..and he was fast !!!! He will be missed !

  4. Thinking of you Holly everyday since this happened. My heart breaks for you…..Andrew and Bud would mention Rob alot over the years. Thankful for his help along with Bud at Andrew’s funeral. Gone but never forgotten…always there to help when needed and will remember his big smile whenever I saw him. Cannot make it to the visitation since I have a bad case of the flu/cold that’s going around….but my thoughts are there with you!!! Rest easy Rob, you are in good company up above!!!   15. I was blessed enough to know and play against Robbie in multiple leagues in the area. He was always a guy that would chat me up after a winter of not seeing each other. When I first met him 20 years ago we would banter back and forth about who was the faster guy on the base paths.
    He’ll be missed by many. Rest easy, Brother.

  17. Robbie was adored by my late grandmother Lee as well as my mother Shannon my Step father Jamie my son Antonio husband Mark and myself. We are all in complete shock and profoundly saddened by his passing. Our thoughts are with the family though this difficult time. We will forever remember you and think of you.

I have known Rob going all the way back to our High school days and when Rob, Marty and Wes played on my Friday night men’s two pitch team. Rob was a great athlete. I have talk to Rob off on thru out years when I been back to the sarnia area. R.I.P. my friend!
