Jan grew up with her family in Reeces Corners. She married Alex Dalziel in 1968 and they started their married life together in Sarnia. After several years, they opted to move to a more rural community. Jan enjoyed the quiet and peaceful home that they created in Brigden. Jan, we are sad that you had to go, but we know that you were greeted with open arms by those waitng for you. Sending you our love. Rest in peace Jan.

We will gather for a Celebration of Life for Jan in the Spring.

  1. We are ashamed to say that we just heard of Jan’s passing today. We were neighbours of the Dalziel’s ( taught them how to prnounce their name properly ! ) and spent many an afternoon or evening sitting outside chatting. We stashed our children’s Christmas gifts in their crawl space and every Dec 24th around ten o’clock, Gord and Alex could be spotted ferrying brightly wrapped gifts from their house to ours ! Many fond memories of both of them. We send our sympathy to her survivng family members and our sorrow at not knowing Jan had passed on.

  2. Aunt Jan. You and I shared our love of dogs and the country life. I think of you often while out walking the dogs. You will be missed.

  3. Dear Dalziel Family: we were so sorry to hear of Jan’s passing. She would visit my mother & father-in-law and enjoy chats over a coffee. Jan had such a kind gentle heart. You will be missed. RIP. God Bless!
