My deepest sympathies to the family of Helen Daley. My few encounters with this strong interesting lady are memorable. I especially enjoyed her sharing her ‘war bride’ story at the Historical Society Meeting ( promoted by her history journaling daughter Robin:) I admired her optimism and warmth and feel she was an inspiring matriarchal influence.
