Picture2CORE, Walter Alexander Duncan – It is with heavy hearts the family of Walter Core announce his peaceful passing with his loving family by his side at C.E.E. Hospital, Petrolia on July 09, 2022. Beloved husband and best friend of Catherine (nee Tomlinson) for 64 years. Loving father of Michael (Allison), the late David (Sandra), Mark (Pam), Marilyn (Larry) Virgin, Robert (Chris) and Ronald (Allison). Devoted Grampa of Jenna (Dale), Mitch (Baylie), Jake (Paige), Donny (Amanda), Jessie (Dennis), Adam (Shauna), Mandy (Craig), Bruce (Katie), the late Jason Virgin, Brittany (Evan), Tyler (Meghan), Duncan and Ally. Proud Great Grampa of 18 Great Grandchildren. Dear brother of Raymond (Bonnie), Ruby (Maurice) Rankin and Shirley (Donald) Hope. Predeceased by his parents Archie and Margarita Core, siblings John (Ruth), Augusta, Kathleen and brother in law Ralph Prince. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Walter will be missed by all who knew him. Walter was born, raised and farmed all his life on Shiloh Line. His Greatest joy was to spend time with his family, they were the light of his life. Walter was a family man who adored his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. A special thank you to Dr Butler, Dr Lam and the first floor nurses for taking extraordinary care of Walter during his stay.

A private celebration of life will take place.

It was a real pleasure to have known such a smart talented farmer and we always did enjoy chatting with him at various family functions.
