My sincere condolences for your family’s loss. Karen was my first assistant manager at Penningtons. I soon learned that retiring from my former career gave me few retail skills. Her knowledge, patience and sense of humour were so helpful.
Sincerely,
Bonnie Hegarty.

My condolences to the family. I too reside on Valentina Street and often passed Karen as she enjoyed sitting outside. Always a friendly smile and a wave and occasionally we had a nice conversation. She will be missed by close neighbors who had developed friendships with her. A sad time for many close to her.

Sharen, Maureen and families. I was so saddened to see this. I have some of my best life memories with Karen back in the glory days of the Squires hockey team. We went to many games together, home and away games. Always an adventure. Please know that you are in my prayers and my condolences to you all.
