BROWN WebsiteBROWN, Pearl Kathleen Ada (Cutbush) – Age 84 of Courtright passed away on April 12, 2019 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia. Beloved wife for 51 years to the late Gordon Wayne Brown (2011). Loving mother of the late Billy Cutbush, George (Deanna Gibson) Brown of Courtright, Susan Robertson of Corunna, Gordon (Sandra Guthrie) Brown, Gerald (Lynn) Brown, Keith (Kris) Brown, all of Courtright. Dear grandmother to 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Missed by her brothers and sisters-in-law Norma (late Douglas) Dewey, the late Peggy (George) Isfan, Joyce (Garnet) Starr. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Florence (Blakelock) Cutbush and brother Kenneth Cutbush. Loved dearly by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Ada always had a zest for life, brought laughter to everyone around her and took great pride in her family and friends.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden.

FUNERAL DETAILS
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 11:00 am from the funeral home. Cremation and a private family graveside service at Sutherland Cemetery, Courtright will follow at a later date.

Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Courtright United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.

  1. Dear Pearl… It’s with sadness that I hear of your passing. You and I shared many fun moments together on Thursday evenings at Marcin Bowl . Always looked forward to your twinkling eye and smiling face and your awesome tease that you and I had time and time again. Your smile will be missed but remembered very fondly.   4. We got 2 know Ada since moving to Courtright in 2012. I bowled with her and we played cards at the Courtright Friendship Club. We thourorally enjoyed here friendship. Read in peace, dear lad

  6. We are so sorry to hear of Ada’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers to her family at this difficult time. I bowled with Ada years ago and she was so thoughtful and helpful in providing me with tips to make my bowling better. She took time out of her busy schedule to make trophies and other things for our bowling banquets. Ada was a lady who loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. She will be missed but not forgotten!

  8. So sorry to read of Ada’s passing. As the neighbor in Courtright many years ago, who lived ” behind ” the Browns, we shared good and bad times. Ada always had words of wisdom and a smile. May she rest in peace.

  11. My condolences . Ada was one in a million. One of my favourite people since I came to this area in 1974. There was always something to laugh about when talking with Ada. The world lost a very special lady.
