  1. So sorry to hear of Mel’s passing. Keeping everyone in our thoughts and prayers.
Ken and Barb Taylor and families

  2. I remember many good times with Uncle Mel. He always brought his famous fudge to Christmas gatherings – it was a treat for sure! He was pretty good at playing ping pong and sometimes I got a game with him at our house when I was young. One Christmas everyone was leaving and I asked Uncle Mel if he was going too? I think he thought I wanted him to leave, but really I wanted him to stay and play another game lol. Sadly he had to leave too. Thanks for all the great memories. Keith Broad (Nephew to Uncle Mel)

  3. Dear Sandy and family, my deepest condolences on the passing o Mel, I pray that Gods gentle peace will be with you all at this time, Mel was a great and loyal friend, Steve

  7. Was saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle Mel today. My earliest memories of Uncle Mel are of the spirited, active, positive man. He had a fun loving sense of humour and loved to prank my cousins/siblings/self.
He had a bit of a sweet tooth and his Christmas family get together contribution was homemade fudge, which he would bring out in a very celebratory manner to share with all who where eagerly waiting to taste the latest batch.
Having lived a lot of life in the Kitchener area and the business of raising my own family, times where less seldom that I would see Uncle Mel, whenever i did, he was always quick with a joke and a smile that would light up the room. Love you. I will miss you, miss you your spirit and your kindness! Say hello to Grandpa and Grandma for all of us. Blessings and peace to you.

Aunt Sandy hugs and love to you, especially during this difficult time. You where such a fantastic partner, friend, caregiver for Uncle Mel. The memories of someone as special as your husband will live on forever. oxoxo
