BLACKSTOCK, Keith William – Surrounded by the love of his family, Keith William Blackstock of Petrolia, in his 88th year, passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health – C.E.E. Site, Petrolia on Thursday, July 23, 2015. Reunited with the love of his life of 69 years, Blanche Marie (Atkinson) Blackstock (April 23, 2015). Left behind to miss him dearly are his daughters Dorothy (George) Mathers of Wyoming, Joyce (Ed) Allen of Hamilton and Shelley (John) Freer of Petrolia. Proud grandfather of Lynn Sharp (Darryl), Janice Mathers, Wayne (Nikki) Mathers, Bradley (Janice) Allen, Joshua (Brenda) Allen, Jared Freer and Sarah Freer. Great-grandfather of Taylor (Courtney) Sharp, Spencer (Meghen) Sharp, Rayna Sharp, Hannah Mathers and Mason Allen. Great-great-grandfather of Jace Sharp. Survived by brother Neil (late Jessie) Blackstock and sister Margaret (Bruce) Gray. Predeceased by parents James and Ethel Blackstock and brother Eric “Speedy” (Alice) Blackstock. Music and friends have always been an important part of Keith’s life, playing piano and later fiddle at family functions, friendly gatherings, community events and nursing homes. Keith was employed at Sarnia Bridgeworks, Welland Chemical and delivered newspapers with Blanche for 43 years. Keith and Blanche farmed in Enniskillen Township for many years.

Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Sunday, July 26, 2015 1:00 to 4:00pm.
FUNERAL SERVICE
Funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Wyoming Cemetery.

I can’t believe your father has just passed and exactly 3 months after your mother and just 16 days after my mother. It has been a very difficult spring and summer in the Blackstock clan. So sorry to hear of Keiths passing Shelly Johnny Gared Sara and all the family have so many great memorys of Keith and Blanch when visiting at the farm they were great neighbours
