  2. Kathy, Dawn, Cora, Liam and the rest of the Baker Family – My deepest condolences regarding the passing of Cliff. It was always a pleasure to “catch up” with him when he called or visited the school. I appreciated hearing about stories from the farm, his views on politics and everything else that we would discuss during the course of our conversations. Sometimes he would just call to chat. He will be sadly missed. I know that he was very proud of his family and in particular his grandchildren. To the Baker family, my sincerest condolences, and to Liam and Cora – remember the life lessons that your papa taught you. They will serve you well as you get older. My heart aches for all of you on the passing of this kind and gentle man. Please take good care of each other. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

  3. I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of “Poppa Baker”. He was such a good grandfather to Cora (& Liam) and always loved to joke around with me when he came to the school. He came with me on a field trip (more than one, actually) and was the best firestarter/keeper we had, tending to the fire, so the kids could roast weiners and toast their marshmallows. I know Cora adored him. What a great man and grandfather. I’m thinking of all of you.

  4. So very sorry to hear Mr Baker passed away. I met him many years ago when I dated his son John.
