Beloved husband of Betty Searson-Anderson for almost 40 years. Loving father of Janet (David) Whitehead. Grandfather of Kathryn Whitehead (Barry Hunnakko) and Brian (Ingrid) Whitehead. Great grandfather of Rose Whitehead. Dear brother of Marlene (Joseph) Nauta and Wayne (Elaine) Anderson. Survived by many nieces and nephews, sister-in-laws Joan Roberts, Anne Walker, Mary Ethel Douglas and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Roy (Debra) Searson. Predeceased by his parents Lyle and Doreen (Loosemore) Anderson, sister and brother-in-law Eva and Bill Jacques, and his parents-in-laws John and Leah (Heaton) Searson. Bill was a worshipful master of the Leopold Lodge #397 Brigden, a lifelong farmer in Dawn Township, and a resident of Oil Springs.

Funeral Details
A private family visitation and service will take place at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, BRIGDEN, followed by a private family interment at St. James Brooke Cemetery, Watford.

    I am so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. I always enjoyed his dry sense of humor and will miss him at our family reunions.
    He now walks easily and has no pain.

Everyone that knew him also knew that Bill loved to chat…. always trying to get the latest news with his sly, shy demeanor. His little chuckle will always be part of my memory. He was a hard worker and a good hearted soul. Always willing to lend a hand, regardless of how dirty the job. He will be missed but all who knew him but we will each keep a little bit of Bill with us forever.

    Mary Lou and remember Bill well. His gentle, kind demeanor comes to mind. I last saw Bill and you Betty at mom and dads 50th. Please know, Bill had been one of mom’s favourit cousins and if she was alive today, she would be very sad to hear of his passing. A wonderful man.
