COVID-19

In the greatest efforts to protect your family and our own, at Steadman Brothers Funeral Chapels, we are taking all precautions necessary to prevent the spread of Covid-19. At the funeral home we have a regimented cleaning and disinfecting schedule. We are wearing all of our proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when dealing with the public. Our doors are locked during business hours but we are available 24 hours a day by phone or email. Any funeral or pre-arrangements may still be made in person following all physical and social-distancing protocol but we are encouraging you to contact us, as much as possible, by phone and/or email.

It is now, more than ever, we are recognizing the value of a visitation, funeral or celebration of life involving your family, friends and neighbours. These services are limited to a maximum number of people based on staffing requirements/availability at the funeral home and cemetery (by order of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario). We will make every effort to provide your family and friends an opportunity to grieve the loss of a loved one. This includes staggered viewing times, multiple services and online streaming of services. We also encourage the planning of services for a later date when we are all able to grieve together.

Please keep yourself and your family safe and healthy.

Please know that we are still here to serve you with the same compassion and care our family has provided to the families of Lambton County for the last 114 years.
