McDONALD, Murray Gerald – Age 76 of Sarnia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia. Beloved husband of Linda McDonald (nee Shaw) for 52 years. Loving father of Doug (Lori), Carol and Kevin (Amanda) McDonald. Cherished grandfather of Justin, Heather, Meaghan, Leah and Morgan. Survived by his mother Jean McDonald (nee Miller) and siblings Myrna (Doug) Pettit, Dale (Cathy) McDonald and Bonnie (John) Simmons. Predeceased by his daughter Patricia, father Jack and brothers John, Gary and Allen.
SERVICE DETAILS
Family and friends will be received at the Community of Christ Church (corner of Brigden Road and Lasalle Line) on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 10:00am until service time at 11:00am. Interment of ashes to follow at Moore Union Cemetery, Mooretown.

Aunt Linda it was sad to hear about Uncle Murray. Our hearts and best wishes go out to you and your family. Many of my memories of Uncle Murray are around family events like Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa’s, Shaw Reunions and picnics on the St. Clair River. Murray’s humour and kindness will be remembered.
