LESTER, Verna Mae (Beggs) – Age 93, formerly of Courtright, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Vision Nursing Home, Sarnia. Beloved wife of the late Robert Lester (1981). Dear mother of Jack (Linda) Lester and Marilyn (Lorne) Hall. Loving grandmother of Jim, Debbie, Raymond, Stephen and Marianne Lester, Jeffery, Michael and Kevin Hall. Cherished great-grandmother of 19 and great-great-grandmother of 2. Survived by sister-in-law Mildred Beggs, brother-in-law Harvey Lester and daughter-in-law Vida Lester. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Maud (Chute) Beggs, son Don Lester (1986), grandsons Robert Hall (1984) and David Lester (2009), sister Della Lester (2004) and brother Clarence Beggs (1998). Verna was a long time resident of Courtright and Life Member of Courtright United Church. A special thank-you to the caring staff at Vision Nursing Home for their excellent care of the past 6.5 years.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 1-5pm.

FUNERAL SERVICE
Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11:00am from the funeral home. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, Sombra. Rev. Jill Rogers officiating.
