METCALF, Murray Laverne – Passed away at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia on Saturday, June 18, 2011 in his 90th year. Murray was born February 12, 1922 on the 6th Line of Enniskillen, Shiloh District. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Anna Mae (Henderson)(2004) for over 58 years. Loving father of Carol (Roger) Mitchell of Oil Springs, Richard Metcalf, Jenny Davis of Point Edward. Cherished grandfather of Teresa (Daryl) Jaques, Julie (Jamie) Kelly, Michael (Casey) Mitchell, Conor (Lee), Shane and Emily MacDonald. Great-grandfather of Amberly and Brandon Jaques, Mackenzie and Ashley Kelly, Cheyanne, Teaghan and Wyatt Mitchell. Survived by his sister Doris (Sid) Melton of Kingsville and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Percy and Mabel (Jackson) Metcalf and brothers Earl, Wesley and Stanley. During World War II, Murray served in the Canadian Army Tank Core Division, going overseas November 1942 to England, Belgium, Holland and Germany, returning home in February 1946.

VISITATION/SERVICE
There will be no public visitation or service. A private family grave side Funeral Service will take place in Wyoming Cemetery.
