SIMMONS, Mary Irene (nee Lee). On April 17, 2009 in her 92nd year Mary passed away at Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petrolia after a lengthy illness. Mary was a resident of St. Thomas and member of Central United Church most of her adult life. Predeceased by husband Raymond (2001), sister Evelyn Kennedy and brother George Lee (WWII). Mary left behind daughters Mary Lee MacKenzie of Sarnia, Heather Gates (John) of Petrolia, grand children Chuck MacKenzie, Kathy Starr and Katie Gates and 5 beautiful great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister Lila Kennedy and brothers Wesley, James and John Lee.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
