SMITH, James Henry age 92 of RR#1 Mooretown, passed away peacefully Saturday July 18, 2009 at Bluewater Health – C.E.E. Site Petrolia. Loving husband of Violet Lily (Wareham) Smith for 69 years. Dear father of Sandra Ellenor of Belleriver, Paul and Susan Smith of RR#1 Mooretown. Dear grandfather of Lisa Smith, Amanda Smith, Ezio and Brooke Desantis, Shelly and Shawn Grylls and Pamela Dugal. Great-grandfather of Wesley, Joshua, Brandi and Tessa. Dear brother of Ken (Dorothy) Smith of RR#1 Mooretown. Survived by a niece and nephews. Predeceased by parents Walter and Mabel (Wilson) Smith and his brother Carmen (Pearl) Smith. Jim was a WWII Veteran, Life Member of Knox Moore Presbyterian Church and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #635 Brigden. Jim held many positions in the Oddfellows Lodge Brigden and had a great passion for camping and fishing at Spry Lake in the Wiarton area.

Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME Brigden on Tuesday July 21, 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00pm.

FUNERAL SERVICE
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 22, 2009 at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Rev. Margaret Bell officiating. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia.
