Stanley William Smith age 80, of Sombra Township passed away suddenly on Wednesday October 22, 2008 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg, Ontario. Son of the late Thomas and Winnifred (Bastow) Smith. Beloved husband of Janet (McLaughlin) Smith of 57 years. Loving father of Wayne and Lori Smith of Oakville, Lou Anne and Keith Terry of Dresden. Sadly missed by grandchildren Alex and Tori Smith, Chris and Kevin Terry. Dear brother of Dorothy (late Calvin) Gonyou, London; Margaret and Garnet Thibault, Port Lambton; Betty (late Glen) Bullock, Sarnia; Jim and Marguerite Smith, Tillsonburg. Dear brother-in-law of Linda (late Bill) McLaughlin, late Don and Shirley McLaughlin, late Jessie and Murratte Mundy, Gloria (late Joe) McLaughlin. Friends will be received at Steadman Brothers Funeral Home, Brigden Friday October 24, 2008 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday October 25, 2008 at 11:00am. Rev.
