DALRYMPLE, Harry David – In his 85th year, of Corunna, formerly of Windsor Junction, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 1, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia.
Beloved husband of Eva (Sanford) Dalrymple.
Loving father of Kenneth and Barbara Dalrymple of Grafton, N.S., Heather Dalrymple of Surrey, B.C., and Kirk and Stephanie Dalrymple of Corunna.
Dear grandfather of Jennifer (Ian), Angela (Craig), Pamela (Bruce) and Amy (Aaron) Dalrymple in N.S. and Alissa and Lauren Dalrymple in Corunna.
Cherished great-grandfather of 7.
Dear brother of Frances Lind of Dartmouth, N.S.
Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Elmer and Laura (MacIntosh) Dalrymple, sisters Dorothy (Mrs. Charles Bell) , Jean (Clarence) Osmond and Betty Vaughan, brothers Alfred, Ralph, Clarence, James and Douglas Dalrymple.
Harry was a veteran of World War II, Overseas Service, and a Life Member and Past President of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #447, Corunna.
VISITATION
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS VISITATION CENTRE, 233 Cameron Street, Corunna on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
LEGION SERVICE
A Legion Service will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 6:30 pm.
FUNERAL SERVICE
Funeral service will be held at STEADMAN BROTHERS VISITATION CENTRE on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 11:00 am. Father Wooley officiating. Interment in Froomfield Cemetery.
