BURNARD, Reginald James– It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Reginald James Burnard peacefully at home on the farm in Enniskillen Township on Monday, November 16, 2015 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Reta Kathleen “Kay” Reginald Burnard (2015). Loving father of Lyle (Brenda) Burnard and Betty (John) LeNeve. Cherished grandfather of Leanne (Dave) Kember, Thomas (Natalie) Burnard, Katie (Justin) Peters and Kevin LeNeve. Loving great-grandfather of Leah, Jonah, Sophie, Henry, Ainsley and Ashlyn. Survived by his sister Rosie Hyatt. Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Mable (Thompson) Burnard, his brothers George, Jack and Charles Burnard and daughter-in-law Penny Burnard. Reg served in World War II in the Canadian Navy. He farmed all his life on the family farm, where he loved to garden. Reg was an active member of Zion and Brigden United Church.
VISITATION
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 6-8pm
FUNERAL SERVICE
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 1:00pm from the funeral home. Interment to follow at Bear Creek Cemetery. Rev. Sandra Fogarty officiating.
