Mary Florence Traxler (Pettit) passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 26, 2008 at Fiddicks’s Retirement Home, Petrolia, formerly of Brigden and Thompson Gardens, Corunna. Beloved wife of the late Melvin Traxler (1972). Loving mother of Catherine Neal and her husband Robert “Bucky”. Cherished grandmother of Carrie (Fred) Maxim and Guy (Beth) Neal. Great grandmother of Addie Neal. Dear sister of Stewart (Ruby) Pettit and sisiter-in-law of Dorothy Pettit. Predeceased by her parents Alexander and Jane (Shaw) Pettit, daughter Patricia (1937) brothers Orvel, Delmar, Joel, Freeman (Margaret), Charles, Claude (Nylene), Francis and sister Katie (William) Arnold. Survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday November 29, 2008 at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, BRIGDEN from 12:30pm until the funeral service time at 2:00pm. A Lady Martha Rebekah Lodge #245 Brigden service will take place at 12:30pm. Rev. Sandra Fogarty officiating.Interment in Black Creek Cemetery.
