I want to express my condolences to Bruce’s family and friends.
We have lost a great neighbour and friend of many years.
My sympathies to the McCallum Family over the loss of Bruce. He was a wonderful person, actively involved in his community and a good neighbour. Many a night I remember his practicing with the 3 others singers on their front lawn right across the road… it used to make our dog bark and we’d all laugh. He’s had a full life, always a smile on his face, a story to tell, and a hand to lend. He will be sadly missed by many, but we can be comforted knowing he’s with Muriel again. May he rest in peace.
We send our condolences to the family and friends of the late Bruce.
Mark, Cathy, Edwin and Meg Avery
I am sorry to hear of Bruce’s passing.
Being neighbours of Bruce and Muriel, we got to know how wonderful and fun loving a people they were.
Bruce was always innovative, interesting, a bit ahead of his time.
We had the privilege to stop and listen to the quartet practice singing on his front lawn across the road on warm summer evenings.
Always ready to help when asked.
Always having time to chat.
Always willing to have fun and adventure.
Always wearing a smile.
He left a good footprint, lived a good life and shall be missed.
My condolences to all.
Condolences to Bruce’s family and friends. Bruce and Muriel were long time friends of my parents Ron and Marg. I have many good memories of our visits to their farm as kids, seeing him at the fair and throughout the years, after we had moved from Brigden. Always enjoyed his sense of humour and admired how calm he always was. Bruce will certainly be missed by many. Brian Madill
So sorry to hear of the passing of Bruce. We have many fond memories of times spent together. He lived a full life & had many adventures but always took time for family & friends. He will be missed by many.
Brian & Jane Racher
Sincerest Condolences to family and friends. As kids, we (Brian, Maureen,Terry) had many memories of Bruce (and Muriel)…trips to the farm, and seeing/hearing him in the quartet with our dad, Ron. Dad always said Bruce sang with “perfect pitch”. By all the accounts/expressions here from his family/friends, it is evident this perfect pitch found many forms, forums and lives to bless! This past Valentine’s Day, I was grateful to hear Bruce sing a song or two on the phone with dad. It was beautiful to hear this gift God gave him, and to now know that he is in perfect pitch with Jesus, His Lord and Savior. Bruce’s heart, voice, genorosity and kindness will truly be missed. Again, remembering his family and friends at this time.
With thanksgiving to God for a life well lived, Maureen Madill
To all of Bruce’s family & friends we send our deepest condolences
