STEPHENSON, Delta Margaretta (nee Hands) – Age 88 of Petrolia formally of Oil Springs passed away peacefully at Fiddick’s Nursing Home on Friday, December 27, 2019. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Stephenson (2012) and son Clarence (2014). Loving mother of Alan (Marie) Stephenson, Janice (Claude) Randall, Jim (Sally) Stephenson and Linda (Ron) Scales. Dear grandmother to Jennifer (Charles) Snary, Bill, Mike (Dana), Phil (Bailey) Stephenson, Ann (Chris) Hyatt, Nicole (Dan) Nesbitt, Camilla (Corey) Kerrigan-Chafe, Nina Randall, Benjamin and Jessica Stephenson, Adam and Amanda Scales. She will be sadly missed by her 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by grandson Paul Alan Stephenson (1978), granddaughter Christine Lynn Stephenson (1994), parents Clarence (1950) and Beulah (Norton) Hands (1987), in-laws Cyril (1967) and Isabella (Beveridge) (1978) Stephenson.
Funeral Details
Following Delta’s wishes a private family visitation followed by a graveside service interment of ashes at Oil Springs Cemetery will take place.
