BARNES, Verna Mildred Patricia – age 96, passed away on February 11, 2012 at Vision Nursing Home, Sarnia. Beloved wife of the late Jack Barnes (1997). Loving mother of Janet (Ted) Hunter and John (Anne) Barnes. Grandmother of Michael, Karen, Gail, Joanne, Kathy, Glen, Teresa and Andrea. Great-grandmother of Ricky, Shayna, Frankie, Paige, Lindsay, Rebecca, Karl, Jackson, Audrie, Elliot and Allison. Dear sister of Mary Joyce of London. Predeceased by parents Allie and Nellie (Harris) Hayes, daughter Barbara Duplessis (2002), sons Gary Barnes (2006) and Brian Barnes (2009) and her brother John Hayes.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE
A graveside service will be held at Moore Union Cemetery, Mooretown on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 1:00pm. Rev. Susan Woodhouse officiating.
